- Photos: Images you upload of medications, documents, contacts, or passwords
- Metadata: Information caregivers add to organize items (names, dosages, phone numbers, etc.)
- Usage Data: Basic activity logs to help us improve the service (logins, uploads)
How We Store Your Data
- All data is stored on secure servers hosted by DigitalOcean in the United States
- Each family's data is stored in a separate, isolated database
- Photos are stored in family-specific directories
- We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Daily backups are maintained for data recovery
Who Can Access Your Data
- Family Members: Only users invited to your family can see your family's data
- Elders: Can only see items they created
- Caregivers: Can see all items in their family to help organize and enrich them
- MomsDocs Team: We may access data only to provide technical support or investigate issues, and only with your permission
We will never sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide the MomsDocs service and its features
- To send magic link emails for authentication
- To send invitation emails when caregivers invite family members
- To improve the service based on usage patterns
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed. Family data is retained as long as any family member has an active account.

- Access: You can view all data associated with your account
- Correction: Caregivers can edit and correct any information
- Deletion: Contact us to request account deletion

MomsDocs is designed for adults (caregivers and elderly users). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
