Beta Service Notice
MomsDocs is currently in beta. This means:
- The service may have bugs or unexpected behavior
- Features may change without notice
- While we make daily backups, we recommend keeping copies of critical information elsewhere
- We appreciate your feedback to help us improve!
What MomsDocs Is
MomsDocs is a tool to help families organize important information for elderly loved ones. It is designed to be simple and accessible, allowing elders to capture information via photos while caregivers organize and maintain the details.
What MomsDocs Is Not
- Not a medical device or healthcare provider
- Not a replacement for professional medical, legal, or financial advice
- Not a secure password manager with end-to-end encryption (passwords are stored to be viewable by family caregivers)
- Not a backup service for critical documents (keep originals safe)
Your Responsibilities
- Keep your email account secure (it's used for authentication)
- Only invite family members you trust to your family
- Ensure you have the right to upload any photos or documents
- Do not use MomsDocs for illegal purposes
- Maintain original copies of important documents
Account and Family Management
- Caregivers can invite elders and other caregivers to their family
- The family owner (first caregiver) has administrative control
- Removing a user does not delete their uploaded content
- Deleting a family removes all associated data permanently
Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you upload to MomsDocs. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process it solely to provide the service to you and your family members.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the service
- Use the service to store illegal content
- Attempt to access other families' data
- Overload the service with excessive uploads
Service Availability
We strive to keep MomsDocs available, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We may need to take the service offline for maintenance or updates. During beta, service interruptions may occur.
Limitation of Liability
MomsDocs is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:
- Data loss (though we make daily backups)
- Decisions made based on information stored in MomsDocs
- Unauthorized access due to compromised email accounts
- Service interruptions or downtime
Termination
You may stop using MomsDocs at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
